I am an assistant professor in the Department of Strategy & Marketing at the University of Sussex. I earned a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of South Florida and an M.S. and B.A. in Psychology from Korea University. I attempt to incorporate my learnings in the psychology discipline into the marketing area and in the process aimed to bridge several aspects of these two disciplines.
My key research interests are in consumer well-being, sensory marketing, and digital marketing in retail and service settings. I investigate how sensory stimuli used in retailing (brick-and-mortar and online) affect consumers’ evaluations and choices.
